I'm a huge believer that a photographer is SO much more than a button pusher. I'm here to not only capture the most magical moments of your life but I'm also to be your wing woman, third wheel, bestie and the person you can count on to help out fix your veil on the big day if it's out of place. So let's get to know each other first! Here's a little bit about me...
I joined the United States Army when I was 18 years old. I enlisted as a cardiovascular specialist. Sooo…yeah I kind of take pictures of people’s hearts too hahaha! Anyways, I’m married to my best friend, Mark and have the cutest 23 month old (YES! I still count months, shhh leave me alone I have ONE month left until he turns two!
So Mark and I met while we were in AIT (“army occupation school”), we were both in the same class. We fell in love, had our first kiss on a bench outside of Barnes and Noble (I know! Super romantic, right?) and YEP you guessed it… we eloped after 1 year of dating. Let’s just say NO ONE knew, we kind of called our parents right after and then announced it on the gram afterwards.

Okay! Your next question is probably how did you get into PHOTOGRAPHY??? Well, I have loved taking pictures since a really young age. When I was about 6 years old, I would BEG my mom for disposable cameras from Walgreens. I would set up photoshoots with my sister and my brother, put up blankets on our bunkbeds as backdrops, the whole shebang! I’ll probably share those pictures one day, they’re hilarious!
A few years later, I joined yearbook in high school. That was actually the first time I used a “real camera: (DSLR camera) and it opened my eyes to the possibilities. Over the years, I would just take pictures for family and friends. I would take so many pictures just to document special moments in our lives. My favorite part is always going back to old photos and reliving a moment from a long time ago. Photography became something so natural in my life. It wasn’t until last year that I realized I can actually make one of my biggest passions into an ACTUAL CAREER (insert mind-blown emoji here). And now…. HERE WE ARE!!

My couples! I really mean it when I say no session with me is the same. It all starts with getting to know every couple I work with and authentically capturing what makes their relationship unique!
I have been serving my clients and photographing love for 4 years!
My husband and I modeled for an elopement styled shoot in 2019. I absolutely loved the experience and that was the first time that I realized that my love for photography could actually become a career!
It might come from my deep love (and slight obsession) with Twilight but anything and everything OREGON!
When I’m not photographing your love stories. I’m a mother and a wife. My husband and I love to travel to new places with our babies.
Okay, let me tell you a secret…I love…LOVE. I’m a HUGE romantic! Yes! I’m the one who cries every time I watch the notebook, (“If you’re a bird. I’m a bird”) I’m beyond obsessed with Twilight, (Yes, I’m Team Edward, because their love was EPIC and it always gives me all the feels) and also love every “chick flick/cheesy romance” movie out there!

So why should you care about all this??? Well…let’s just say I’ll be the best third-wheel you never knew you needed. I want to capture raw and real moments that really showcase how deeply in love two people are. I love to connect with my couples on a deeper level. I want to bring out the laughs that make your belly hurt. The tears that you didn’t think would come out during a photoshoot. That super romantic epic kiss that you only see in movies. Yep, that’s my job. To preserve those sweet romantic moments with your lover, that you want to remember forever.

So what should you expect during a session with me? Well….for starters no awkward weird stiff posing! I’ll let y’all take the lead. I’ll help set the mood by playing your favorite songs. I’ll give y’all a few prompts to really showcase your personalities but my goal is to make you feel like I’m not even there! Everyone has their story and I want to capture y’all in the most authentic way I can, because you story matters.
